1. Unplug the refrigerator from the electrical outlet.
2. Open the refrigerator door and remove any items that are stored on the door shelves.
3. Remove the screws at the top of the trim and set them aside.
4. Gently pull the trim away from the freezer door to release it from the clips at the bottom.
5. Lay the trim on a flat surface and install the new trim piece in the same manner.
6. Secure the top of the trim with the screws removed in Step 3.
7. Test the door to ensure it is secure and closes properly.
8. Replace any items you removed in Step 2.
9. Plug the refrigerator back into the electrical outlet.
