DIY Replacement of the Whirlpool WP12227305WD Support
1. Unplug your refrigerator from the power source before beginning any repairs.
2. Carefully remove the shelves and drawers from the interior of your fridge.
3. Locate the support, located near the back wall. If you need help, refer to your user manual.
4. Using a wrench or socket set, carefully loosen the mounting screws that secure the existing support in place.
5. Gently remove the existing support from its mounting location.
6. Clean the old mounting surface with a cloth or paper towel.
7. Position the new support in the same location as the old one.
8. Secure the new support in place using the same mounting screws.
9. Carefully replace all of the shelves and drawers back into the refrigerator.
10. Plug the power cord back into the power source, and turn the fridge back on.
