Step 1: Make sure the power is disconnected from the Speed Queen 310P4 tool before beginning.
Step 2: Remove the four screws that secure the back panel to the Speed Queen 310P4.
Step 3: Once the back panel is removed, you will find the ratchet extension – Muncie attached to a bracket. The bracket needs to be removed in order to remove the extension.
Step 4: After removing the bracket, use a wrench to loosen the retaining bolts on the extension and then pull the extension out from the washer.
Step 5: Insert the new extension into the washer and secure it in place with the retaining bolts.
Step 6: Put the bracket back in place and then secure the back panel with the four screws.
Step 7: Reconnect the power supply to the washer and you are done.
