Instructions
Step 1: Unplug the refrigerator. Be sure to unplug the fridge before beginning.
Step 2: Remove the front grille. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the screws from the front grille. Once the screws are removed, gently pull the grille away from the refrigerator.
Step 3: Disconnect the tubing. Locate the water line connected to the endcap and disconnect it by pressing down on the connector and pulling it away from the endcap.
Step 4: Remove the endcap. The endcap is held in place by two screws. Use your Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws. Then, pull the old endcap off the refrigerator.
Step 5: Install the new endcap. Slide the new endcap on the refrigerator and secure it with the two screws.
Step 6: Reconnect the water line. Push the water line back onto the endcap and press down firmly until it is connected.
Step 7: Reinstall the front grille. Place the front grille back onto the refrigerator and secure it with the screws.
