W10436252 Whirlpool Door Gasket
The Freezer Door Gasket, Black is a rubber seal on the inner door panel of your freezer and creates a seal around the door to prevent warm air from entering the freezer compartment. Note: Safely store any food that could deteriorate while the door is open for this repair. 1. Begin by turning off the power to the appliance. This can either be done by unplugging the appliance or flipping the circuit breaker in your home.
2. Unscrew the screws located around the perimeter of the Whirlpool W10436252 GASKET-FIP to remove it from the appliance.
3. Take out the old gasket and dispose of it properly.
4. Take the new gasket and make sure that it is the correct size and shape for your appliance.
5. Place the new gasket into position in the appliance and secure it with the screws.
6. Turn the power back on to the appliance, run a test cycle and ensure that the gasket is sealed properly.
7. If everything is running as it should, you are finished with the installation!
