WP3363003 Whirlpool Agitator Mover
This Top Load Washer Upper Agitator is connected to the lower agitator and the whole assembly helps to spin your clothes properly so they can be washed. If your clothes aren't being agitated or if there is an unusual sound when your washing machine is agitating, this part may need to be replaced. To remove the old upper agitator, open the machine lid and remove the fabric softener dispenser by pulling it straight up. Then remove the barrier cap. You'll then be able to remove the agitator bolt. After pulling the agitator out of the machine, separate the lower agitator from the upper agitator and save the spacer washer that sits on top of the existing part so you can use it to attach the new one. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh® Washing Machine Cleaner* (item W10501250) once a month to help reduce odor-causing residue that can build up in your washing machine's drain without proper care. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
