1. Before you begin, make sure that the power has been completely disconnected from your Whirlpool Refrigerator. This is important for safety purposes.
2. Gently remove the trim bar from the refrigerator door by pulling at the sides and releasing any fastener clips along the side. You can usually use a flathead screwdriver to release the clips if necessary.
3. Pull away the old trim bar from the refrigerator’s door frame. Make sure that all of the screw holes are visible on both ends. Wipe down and clean the area thoroughly with a cloth.
4. Line up the new WP2309941 Whirlpool Refrigerator Door Bar Trim. Secure it in place by pushing the ends into the refrigerator’s door frame.
5. If there are any fastener clips along the side, use a flathead screwdriver to attach them securely.
6. Re-connect the power source to your Whirlpool Refrigerator. The new door bar trim should now be in place.
