The following parts are replaced by this product

1. Unplug the stove and make sure all burners are off.
2. Remove the screws that secure the bottom of the plastic lamp assembly to the back wall of the stove.
3. Gently pull the lamp assembly away from the wall and disconnect any wire connections or clips holding it in place.
4. Remove the bulb by gently twisting it counterclockwise.
5. Replace the old bulb with a new GE Stove Range Oven Cooktop Appliance Lamp Assembly - 40W 120V bulb.
6. Reconnect any wire connections or clips that were disconnected.
7. Secure the bottom of the plastic lamp assembly back to the wall with the screws you removed in step 2.
8. Plug in the oven and test the new bulb.
