DIY Instructions for Replacing a Whirlpool W11445850 Switch
1. Locate the switch and power off the appliance. Unplug the appliance or turn off the circuit breaker if it is hardwired.
2. Use a screwdriver to remove the surrounding parts to gain access to the switch. This may include screws, mounting plates, or other components.
3. Disconnect the wires from the switch by unscrewing the connectors and then taking out the switch. Make a note of where each wire went for easier installation.
4. Install the new Whirlpool W11445850 switch, connecting each wire in its original position. Secure the switch with screws.
5. Reinstall the surrounding parts and test the appliance.
6. Once the new switch is installed and functioning properly, turn the power back on and resume using the appliance.
