This French Door Refrigerator Defrost Thermostat is a safety device that clips onto the evaporator in the freezer. This part turns off the defrost heater in the event that it becomes too warm in the freezer section. If your refrigerator does not defrost as expected, replacing this part may alleviate the issue.
