WP33001755 Whirlpool Drum Baffle
The Dryer Drum Baffle attaches to the inside of the dryer drum and helps tumble clothing during the drying cycle. If your dryer’s current baffle has become broken or damaged causing the part to detach from the drum, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Note that you may also need one or more screws (item WP33002973) to hold the new baffle against the drum. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part.

Replacing the Whirlpool WP33001755 Baffle Shield
Tools Needed:
-Phillips head screwdriver
-Flat head screwdriver
-Pliers
-Towel
Step One: Shut off power to your appliance. Unplug the unit or turn power off at the circuit breaker panel.
Step Two: Prepare the area. Place a towel on the floor in front of the unit to collect any small parts that may drop out during the repair.
Step Three: Remove the drawer. To do this, use a Phillips head screwdriver to loosen and remove the screws that secure the drawer to the unit. When the screws are removed, slide the drawer out and set aside.
Step Four: Locate the baffle shield. The baffle shield is located at the back of the unit, beneath the upper section. It will be attached with several screws.
Step Five: Unscrew the baffle shield. Use a flat head screwdriver to remove the screws that secure the baffle shield to the frame of the unit.
Step Six: Remove the old baffle shield. Carefully lift the baffle shield out of the unit and discard it.
Step Seven: Install the new baffle shield. Insert the new baffle shield into the frame and make sure it is resting securely.
Step Eight: Secure the baffle shield with screws. Use a flat head screwdriver to attach the new baffle shield to the unit's frame.
Step Nine: Replace the drawer. Slide the drawer back into position and re-secure it with the Phillips head screws.
Step Ten: Clean up the area. Collect any debris or small parts and discard properly.
Step Eleven: Restore power. Plug the unit back in, or switch the power back on at the circuit breaker panel.
You have now successfully replaced the Whirlpool WP33001755 Baffle Shield.
