1. Before beginning the job, shut off the power to the dishwasher and make sure you have the right tools: a flathead screwdriver, a Phillips head screwdriver, and a pair of pliers.
2. Begin by removing the door panel of your dishwasher, located at the front of the appliance. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws holding the door panel in place.
