1. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet or turn off the circuit breaker supplying power to the dryer.
2. Slide out the dryer and lay it on its back with the rear-facing upward.
3. Remove the screws holding the adhesive lint filter to reveal the old bearing.
4. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the screws from the bearing assembly and pull it away from the dryer.
5. Place the new rear drum bearing into the dryer, aligning the grooves in the bearing with those in the dryer.
6. Secure the bearing by tightening the screws with a flathead screwdriver.
7. Replace the adhesive lint filter and secure it with the screws removed earlier.
8. Return the dryer to its original position and plug in or switch on the power.
