1. First, turn off the electricity to your Frigidaire range oven. The main power switch is usually located under the oven or near the top of the back panel.
2. Locate and remove the oven temperature sensor. It should be located in the back of the oven, near the top.
3. Once you have located the sensor, disconnect it by carefully removing the mounting screws. Keep track of the screws so you can replace them later.
4. Carefully remove the sensor from the oven.
5. Clean out the area where the old sensor was located to make sure there is no lingering residue from the old unit.
6. Insert the new Frigidaire 316490000 range oven temperature sensor into place and secure it with the screws you removed in Step 3.
7. Connect the wires that were disconnected from the old sensor to the corresponding terminals on the new sensor. Make sure all connections are secure and insulated.
