1. Start by unplugging your Whirlpool appliance and making sure that the power is completely disconnected.
2. Then, locate the button assembly known as the WPW10520307 Button Plug on the front panel of your Whirlpool appliance.
3. Using a flat head screwdriver, carefully pry up the button assembly from the front panel.
4. Once the button assembly is removed, identify the mounting screws holding it in place.
5. Unscrew the mounting screws holding the button assembly in place and remove the plate.
6. Carefully lift out the WPW10520307 Button Plug and replace it with the new one.
7. Once the new button is secured in place, reattach the mounting plate using the screws.
8. Replace the cover and make sure all connections are secure.
9. Finally, plug the power cord back into the wall socket and power on your Whirlpool appliance.
