Step 1: Unplug the fridge. For safety reasons, it is important to unplug your refrigerator before you start any repairs or maintenance.

Step 3: Remove the old trim shelf. Use a flathead screwdriver to carefully remove the screws that are holding the trim shelf in place. Once the screws are removed, you should be able to pull out the shelf and access the area behind it.
Step 4: Install the new trim shelf. Carefully align the new shelf into place, making sure that it fits snugly and securely. Using the screws you removed in Step 3, secure the shelf firmly in place.
Step 5: Test the trim shelf. Push down on the shelf to make sure it is firmly in place. You should not feel any wiggle or movement when the shelf is secured properly.
Step 6: Plug the refrigerator back in. After the trim shelf has been installed and tested, plug the refrigerator back in and let it cool down before you start using it again.
