Replacing the Whirlpool WP8054980 SWITCH-LID: DIY Instructions
1. Unplug your Whirlpool appliance from the wall socket.
2. Carefully lift off the lid and place it on a flat surface.
3. Remove the screws from the lid that are holding the old SWITCH-LID in place.
4. Carefully disconnect the wires from the old switch.
5. Place the new switch on the lid and make sure it is secured with the screws.
6. Connect the new wires to the switch.
7. Test the switch for functionality by plugging in your Whirlpool appliance and turning it on.
8. Once the switch is tested and working properly, secure the lid back in place.
9. Enjoy your newly replaced SWITCH-LID!
