WP8558129 Whirlpool Dishwasher Detergent Dispenser
This Dishwasher Detergent Dispenser Assembly in white is located inside your dishwasher's door and dispenses the soap and the rinse aid that adequately cleans your dishes. The main reason for replacing this assembly is if your current dispenser is no longer dispensing the soap or rinse aid. Before installing the new dispenser, make sure you clean the area under the old dispenser, allowing for a secure seal. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. You should also shut off the dishwasher's water supply underneath the sink before replacing this part. Step-by-Step DIY Instructions on Replacing the Whirlpool WP8558129 DISPENSER
1. Turn off the ice maker and unplug the refrigerator to ensure the power is disconnected.
2. Next, remove the Phillips screws that secure the ice dispenser.
3. Gently lift out the broken WP8558129 dispenser and get it ready for disposal.
4. Place the new dispenser into the same opening and secure it using the Phillips screws.
5. Reconnect the power cable and plug the refrigerator back in.
6. Turn on the ice maker, restart the machine and test the new dispenser.
7. Finally, once you have a confirmed working new Whirlpool WP8558129 dispenser, the installation process is complete.
