W11244231 Whirlpool Hose
This Washer Drain Hose carries used water from the washer to your house drain. To access the part, remove the back panel of your washer, then the lower front access panel. When disconnecting any hoses, place a towel down to catch any water. You'll need to transfer over the old clamps to the new hose. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Replacing the Whirlpool W11244231 HOSE
DIY Instructions
1. Unplug your Whirlpool appliance from the wall and turn off any water valves connected to the appliance.
2. Locate the Whirlpool W11244231 HOSE. You can find this part near the back of your appliance, as it connects to the inlet valve/water source.
3. Carefully disconnect the HOSE from the inlet valve.
4. Gently pull the HOSE from its position and disconnect any other components that may be attached to it.
5. Take the new Whirlpool W11244231 HOSE and connect it to the inlet valve. Make sure it is securely fastened.
6. Reattach any other components to the new HOSE as needed.
7. Reconnect the power cord and turn on the water supply to your appliance.
8. Test the new HOSE by running a small amount of water through it and checking for any leaks.
9. If all tests are successful, you have successfully replaced the Whirlpool W11244231 HOSE.
