Step 1: Unplug the dishwasher. Make sure the power is completely turned off before you begin.
Step 2: Disconnect drain hose and water supply line. You may need pliers to loosen up the hose clamp.
Step 3: Remove the bottom interior access panel. This will allow access to the motor and pump assembly. Unscrew the rivets or remove the screws to remove the panel.
Step 4: Remove the old motor and pump assembly. This can be done by gently pulling it out from the inside of the dishwasher. You may need some pliers to loosen up any screws or clips holding it in place.
Step 5: Install the new motor and pump assembly. Insert the new motor and pump assembly into the dishwasher, lining up all the screw holes and making sure it's secure.
Step 6: Reattach the water supply line and drain hose. Make sure the hoses are securely fastened.
Step 7: Plug in the dishwasher and turn on the power. Start a test cycle to make sure it's working properly.
Step 8: Replace the bottom access panel. Secure all the screws or rivets.
