WP8529935 Whirlpool Drive Motor
This Top Load Washer Drive Replacement Motor includes the motor and the motor shield. The drive motor has two shafts - one shaft drives the pump, and the other shaft drives the transmission. The motor causes your washer to spin and agitate properly during the washing cycle. If your washer no longer spins or agitates, the motor may be worn out or damaged and should be replaced. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. Remember to unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this item. Also be sure to turn off the hot and cold water supplies to your washer. You may need assistance removing the body of the washer from the frame.
