DIY Instructions for Replacing the Whirlpool W11402525 Shelf-Glass
1. Before you begin, make sure that the appliance is unplugged from the power source and is completely cooled down. Remove all food items from the shelves and refrigerator compartments.
2. Locate the screws securing the shelf frame to the refrigerator wall. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove them.
3. With the screws removed, carefully lift out the old shelf and the glass shelf. Dispose of the old shelf, and set aside the old glass shelf.
4. Carefully slide the new shelf into the opening. Make sure the fit is correct. If it is not, try moving it around while pushing gently.
5. Place the new glass shelf into the frame, ensuring that it is properly aligned.
6. Secure the shelf frame with the previously removed screws. Tighten them firmly but avoid over-tightening, as this could cause damage to the unit.
7. Return the food items to their rightful shelves, plug in the unit, and turn it back on.
Please keep in mind, these instructions are for general guidance and should always be used in conjunction with the manufacturer's manual, if available.
