1. Turn off the power to your washing machine and unplug it from the wall.
2. Insert a putty knife into the edge of the front panel, located near the bottom of the machine, and gently pry it away from the frame.
3. Remove the four mounting screws at the top of the panel using a Phillips-head screwdriver.
4. Lift the panel off of the machine, taking care not to disconnect any of the wires.
5. Locate the WP9741251 Whirlpool Mounting Bracket and unscrew it from the back of the machine.
6. Examine the existing bracket for any signs of wear and tear or damage. If the bracket is damaged, replace it with a new WP9741251 Whirlpool Mounting Bracket.
7. Place the new bracket in the mounting holes and secure it with the screws that were removed earlier.
8. Replace the front panel and reattach the four mounting screws.
9. Plug the washer back in and turn on the power.
10. Test the washing machine to ensure it is functioning properly.
