WP67006852 Whirlpool Clip
The Refrigerator Door Handle Clip is part of the door handles locking mechanism, if your door handle is loose, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. To replace the clip, slide the handle release card (see recommended item below) into the gap behind the right side of your freezer drawer handle until it stops. Hold the handle with both hands and firmly push it to the left to release it from the door. You can then remove the screw that holds in the old handle clip. DIY Instructions for Replacing the Whirlpool WP67006852 CLIP
1. Begin by unplugging the appliance from the power source.
2. Use a screwdriver to remove and set aside the screws that are securing the control panel in place.
3. Pull up and remove the control panel.
4. Locate the faulty clip, which should be near the thermostat or temperature control.
5. Unhook or remove the retaining spring of the clip and remove the clip itself.
