1. Before starting any project, make sure to disconnect power to your Frigidaire Dishwasher by unplugging it from the wall outlet or switching it off at the circuit breaker.
2. Empty the dishwasher and then remove the bottom rack and any items that may be obstructing access to the upper spray arm.
3. Remove the screws that are securing the dishwasher’s kickplate to the front of the dishwasher.
4. Pull the kickplate away from the dishwasher to expose the internal components.
5. Using a pair of pliers, carefully remove the 5304506516 Frigidaire Dishwasher Upper Spray Arm—it should twist off easily.
6. Once the old spray arm is removed, insert a new 5304506516 Frigidaire Dishwasher Upper Spray Arm in its place, making sure it is securely connected.
7. Push the kickplate back into place and replace the screws.
8. Double-check that all connections are secure and reconnect power to your dishwasher.
9. Run a cycle to check that the new upper spray arm is working properly.
