DIY: How to Replace a 241688401 Frigidaire Ice Door Bracket
1. Unplug your fridge from the wall socket before you start.
2. Open the freezer door in order to get access to the ice door bracket.
3. Use a screwdriver or other appropriate tool to remove any screws attaching the bracket to the door.
4. Pull the old bracket away from the door, taking care not to damage the plastic doors or panels.
5. Look at the back of the new bracket and make sure that the wiring is connected properly.
6. Align the new bracket into place and secure it with screws.
7. Reattach any wires that may have been disconnected during the process to the new bracket.
8. Close the freezer door, plug in the fridge and you’re done!
