Replacing the GE WB10X28391 Latch Assembly
Tools Needed: Phillips Screwdriver, Flat-Head Screwdriver
Instructions:
1. Unplug the appliance from its power source before beginning this repair.
2. Use your Phillips screwdriver to remove all of the screws on the inner frame, located around the perimeter of the appliance door.
3. Carefully remove the inner frame from the door and set it aside.
4. Now, use your flat-head screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the latch assembly in place.
5. Carefully remove the latch assembly and set it aside.
6. Take your new GE WB10X28391 Latch Assembly and place it into the door. Make sure it is secured properly.
7. Now, use your Phillips screwdriver to reattach the screws that were used to secure the latch assembly in place.
8. Finally, use your Phillips screwdriver to securely place the inner frame back into the appliance door. Ensure that all of the screws are tightened properly.
9. Your new GE WB10X28391 Latch Assembly has now been installed!
