Replacing the WP8558307 Whirlpool Dispenser Cap
1. Unplug the refrigerator from the power source. To prevent electric shock, it is essential that the refrigerator be unplugged before beginning any maintenance or service.
2. Locate the dispenser cap. It should be located on top of the dispenser door.
3. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, carefully remove the screws that are holding the cap to the dispenser.
4. Lift the dispenser cap off of the dispenser door and set it aside.
5. Take the new WP8558307 Whirlpool dispenser cap and place it in the same location as the old one.
6. Secure the dispenser cap with the Phillips head screws you removed earlier.
7. Plug the refrigerator back into the power source.
8. Test the new dispenser cap by pressing down on it gently. Make sure the water begins to flow when you press down on it. If it does not, check the connections and make sure they are secure.
9. Once everything is working properly, your new WP8558307 Whirlpool Dispenser Cap is successfully installed.
