The Dryer Lint Screen Door covers the lint screen in the exhaust of the appliance and prevents clothing from falling into the air duct. Note that your dryer has two lint of these screen doors; each door is sold separately. This part is constructed of durable gray plastic and measures approx. 5-3/4" L x 1-2/3' W. Replacing this item requires no disassembly of the appliance or repair experience. Remember to unplug the dryer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.

DIY Instructions for Installing a Whirlpool W11156832 Replacement Door Panel
Tools Needed:
-Phillips screwdriver
-Socket set
-Drill
-Screw gun
-Tape measure
-Level
Step 1: Unscrew the existing door panel. Start by unscrewing the screws at the top of the panel, then move down the sides and bottom until the entire panel is removed.
Step 2: Measure the dimensions of the new panel. Use a tape measure to ensure that the new panel will fit perfectly in the frame.
Step 3: Mark the location of the screws. Mark the position of the screws with a pencil so you know where to place the new ones.
Step 4: Drill pilot holes into the wall. Use a drill to create pilot holes for the screws. Make sure to follow the marks you made in Step 3.
Step 5: Secure the new panel. Use a screw gun or socket wrench to attach the new panel to the wall. Make sure to tighten each screw firmly but not too tightly.
Step 6: Check for levelness. Use a level to ensure that the panel is level and flush against the wall. If necessary, adjust the screws until the panel is perfectly level.
Step 7: Replace the hinges. Reattach the hinges to the panel and door frame. Make sure to firmly tighten all the screws so the hinge is secure.
Step 8: Test the panel. Close the door and test if the panel seals correctly. If everything works properly, you’re all done!
