1. Unplug the dishwasher and turn off the water supply to it.
2. Open the dishwasher door and locate the retainer clips on the side of the utensil basket.
3. Use a pair of pliers to remove the clips if they are present.
4. Pull the old basket out of the dishwasher.
5. Place a new WD28X265 GE Silverware Cutlery Basket into the dishwasher, being careful to line up the tabs on the sides of the basket with the slots on either side of the dishwasher.
6. If the retainer clips were removed, replace them by squeezing them back onto the sides of the utensil basket.
7. Close the dishwasher door and plug it back in. Turn the water supply back on, and you're all set!
