1. Begin by unplugging the dishwasher from your power outlet.
2. Next, open the dishwasher door and locate the WD1X1316 GE Dishwasher Armature and Linkage near the bottom.
3. With a wrench or pliers, remove the screws that hold the armature and linkage in place.
4. Carefully pull out the old armature and linkage assembly.
5. Install the new armature and linkage assembly into the allotted space.
6. Secure the armature and linkage using the screws taken out to remove the old part.
7. Once the new part is secure, close the dishwasher door and plug the dishwasher back in.
8. Test the dishwasher to ensure the armature and linkage are working correctly.
