The Dishwasher Detergent Dispenser contains and releases the appliance’s detergent and rinse aid during the cleaning cycle. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. Remember to unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Recommended Items: The Rinse-Aid Dispenser Cap (item WP8558307) may also need to be replaced when installing this part. Step 1: Unplug your dishwasher. Locate the detergent dispenser on the inside of the door.
Step 2: Open the door and remove the screws that are holding the dispenser in place.
Step 3: Take out the old dispenser and replace it with a new WPW10195175 Whirlpool Dishwasher Detergent Dispenser.
Step 4: Make sure that the new dispenser is securely in place before tightening the screws.
Step 5: Plug in your dishwasher and test the new dispenser to make sure it's working properly.
Step 6: Enjoy your new Whirlpool Dishwasher Detergent Dispenser!
