Step 1: Unplug the dishwasher and switch off the main power supply connected to the dishwasher.
Step 2: With a Phillips head screwdriver, unscrew the screws that secure the door handle stud to the dishwasher door.
Step 3: Pull out the old door handle stud.
Step 4: Check for any signs of damage or wear and tear on the old door handle stud and discard it.
Step 5: Slide in the new W11157086 Whirlpool dishwasher door handle stud.
Step 6: Secure the door handle stud to the dishwasher door by using the hot glue/epoxy provided with the handle stud.
Step 7: Let the glue/epoxy set for at least 30 minutes before attempting to use the dishwasher.
Step 8: Re-connect the power source and plug the appliance back in.
Step 9: Test the dishwasher door handle stud by gently pressing it to open or close the door.
