DIY Guide to Replacing the 8183948 Whirlpool Grill Vent Hood
1. Unplug any electrical connections and turn off the power to the vent hood. Make sure all the connections are tight before turning off the power.
2. Remove the screws that secure the old vent hood to the wall and remove the hood from its mountings. Unscrew the wiring connections and store the removed parts in a safe place to be used later.
