DIY - How to Replace the 6323EL2001B LG Dryer Thermistor Assy
1. Unplug the dryer from the power source. Remove the screws on the back side of your dryer, then pull out the vent hose and disconnect the wires connected to the thermistor.
2. Take out the old thermistor assembly and its cover plate. Unscrew the screws that attach the cover plate. Then remove the screws holding the old thermistor in place.
3. Insert the new thermistor assembly by first attaching the cover plate with screws. Make sure the thermistor is properly secured before you finish the installation.
4. Re-connect the wires to the thermistor and plug the dryer back into the power source. Test the dryer for normal operation.
5. Put back the vent hose and screws, and test the dryer for regular operation.
