Step 1: Before beginning, ensure you have the necessary tools and the proper replacement part, a WD24X10062 GE Dishwasher Drain Tube Assembly.
Step 2: Unplug the dishwasher before starting.
Step 3: Locate the dishwasher drain tube assembly that needs to be replaced. It is usually at the bottom of the dishwasher.
Step 4: Disconnect the inlet and outlet hoses from the old drain tube assembly.
Step 5: Remove the old tube assembly by unscrewing it from the mounting bracket.
Step 6: Replace the old tube with the new one, making sure to properly line up the inlet and outlet hoses with the corresponding ports.
Step 7: Securely tighten the new tube with the mounting bracket.
Step 8: Plug the dishwasher back in and test the new tube assembly to ensure it is working properly.
