Replacing the Whirlpool WP3400702 Screw
1. Unplug the refrigerator before starting the repair.
2. Locate the broken screw. It should be located behind the top grille panel in the refrigerator’s interior near the freezer door.
3. Remove the grille panel by unscrewing the two screws located on either side of the panel.
4. With the grille panel removed, you will now be able to access the screw and its surrounding components.
5. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the broken screw, then remove it from its hole.
6. Insert the replacement screw into the hole and begin to tighten it clockwise with a screwdriver.
7. Once the screw is securely in place, reattach the grille panel by screwing in the two screws you removed earlier.
8. Plug the refrigerator back in and test the new screw to ensure that it is secure.
9. Congratulations, You have successfully replaced the Whirlpool WP3400702 screw!
