Replacing the Whirlpool W11398765 Hose
1. Start by unplugging the dryer from the wall outlet and turning off the gas line if the dryer has a gas-powered motor.
2. Remove the front access panel from the dryer. This will be held in place by a couple of screws, so you'll need to unscrew those and then remove the panel.
3. Once the panel is removed, you should be able to see the upper back panel. This needs to be detached from the dryer by removing the screws that hold it in place.
4. Pull the upper back panel away from the dryer and disconnect the exhaust hose from the top of the drum. Remove the old hose and replace it with the new Whirlpool W11398765 Hose.
5. To ensure the new hose is secure, use the screws that held the panel in place to secure the new hose.
6. Place the upper back panel back onto the dryer and reattach the screws.
7. Replace the front access panel and secure it using the screws you removed earlier.
8. Plug the dryer back into the wall outlet and turn on the gas line if necessary.
Your Whirlpool W11398765 Hose has now been successfully installed!
