67006322 Whirlpool Refrigerator Dual Water Valve
The French Door Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve allows water to enter the refrigerator’s water dispenser and ice maker. If one of the solenoids in the original unit is bad, it will prevent water from flowing into the ice maker and dispenser. If the icemaker of your appliance stops making ice, no water flows from the dispenser or it flows constantly, or if you notice water at the bottom of the fresh food compartment, the water inlet valve could be malfunctioning and need to be replaced. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also turn off the refrigerator’s water supply before you begin. Helpful Tip: We do not recommend disassembling your appliance’s current water inlet valve to clean it due to the risk of failure after the repair.

DIY Guide: How to Replace the Whirlpool 67006322 VALVE, DUAL WATER
Tools Needed:
-Pliers
-Flathead screwdriver
-Phillips head screwdriver
-Teflon Tape
Step 1: Turn off the main water supply.
Step 2: Using pliers, loosen the two knurled nuts from either side of the current valve. Remove the old valve from the wall and discard it.
Step 3: Place the new valve into the wall opening and secure it using the two knurled nuts. Tighten with pliers.
Step 4: Attach the cold water inlet pipe to the new valve. Using a flathead screwdriver, tighten the screw at the bottom of the valve to secure the pipe.
Step 5: Connect the hot water inlet pipe to the new valve. Using a phillips head screwdriver, tighten the screw at the top of the valve to secure the pipe.
Step 6: Wrap some Teflon tape around both threads of the inlet pipes to ensure a tight seal.
Step 7: Turn on the main water supply and check for any leaks.
You have now successfully replaced the Whirlpool 67006322 VALVE, DUAL WATER!
