WPW10082841 Whirlpool Spray Arm

This Dishwasher Center Wash Arm Assembly rotates and sprays to evenly distribute water during the washing cycle. You may need this kit if your spray arm is damaged and requires replacement. Replacing this part will require no disassembly or repair experience. Remember to unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this kit. You must also turn off the water supply underneath the sink before installation. Step 1: Gather Materials
Gather the following materials in order to replace the Whirlpool WPW10082841 ARM-SPRAY:
-Pliers
-Phillips or flathead screwdriver
-Replacement Whirlpool WPW10082841 ARM-SPRAY
Step 2: Turn Off Water Supply
Before beginning the replacement process, you must turn off the water supply to the sink. This can be done by turning the shutoff valves located under the sink.
Step 3: Disconnect Spray Hose
Use pliers to disconnect the hose that connects the spray to the faucet. Set aside the hose in a safe place.
Step 4: Remove the Sprayer Head
Use a Phillips or flathead screwdriver to remove any screws holding the sprays head onto the faucet. Gently pull the sprayer head away from the faucet.
Step 5: Install the Replacement Spray Head
Line up the new spray head with the holes on the faucet and secure it with screws, if applicable.
Step 6: Reattach the Hose
Reattach the hose to the spray head and tighten it with pliers.
Step 7: Turn on the Water Supply
Turn on the water supply and check for any leaks. If there are none, the Whirlpool WPW10082841 ARM-SPRAY has been successfully replaced.
