WP3954071 Whirlpool Timer
This Top Load Washer Timer controls the length of the different parts of the wash cycle such as filling, soaking, washing, spinning and rinsing. You'll have to remove the control panel to access the old timer, and disconnect it from its two wiring harnesses and plastic locking tab. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also be sure to turn off the washer's hot and cold water supplies. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh® Washing Machine Cleaner* (item W10501250) once a month to help reduce odor-causing residue that can build up in your washing machine's drain without proper care. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
