Step-by-Step Guide to Replacing the Whirlpool W11578839 ROLLER
1. Shut off the power supply to the dryer. Unplug the dryer or turn off the power at the circuit breaker.
2. Remove the two screws on the top of the dryer panel and lift the panel up.
3. Locate the roller wheel you need to replace. It should be located near the back of the dryer drum.
4. Unplug the power harness from the roller wheel and remove the wheel from the dryer drum.
5. Once the old roller is removed, insert the new roller wheel in the same position as the old one.
6. Plug in the power harness to the new roller wheel.
7. Secure the roller wheel with two screws.
8. Lower the dryer panel and secure the two screws.
9. Restore power to the dryer by plugging in the cord or turning on the power at the circuit breaker.
10. Test the dryer to make sure the roller functions correctly.
