W11266654 Whirlpool Washer Door Boot Seal Clamp

The Washer Outer Door Boot Seal Clamp holds the washer bellow seal (door boot) in place in the appliance's frame. If the existing part is broken, rusted or missing, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. The clamp measures approx. 16-1/2" D and is sold separately. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, minor disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Recommended Item: Also consider replacing the Washer Door Boot Seal (item WP8182119) at the same time you complete this repair. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh® Washing Machine Cleaner* (item W10501250) once a month to help reduce odor-causing residue that can build up in your washing machine's drain without proper care. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
