Replacing the Whirlpool W11205050 Dispenser Assembly

Instructions:

Step 1: Unplug the refrigerator and turn off the water supply valve.

Step 2: Remove the freezer door. Lift up on the bottom of the door to release the two top screws and then remove the remaining two screws. Lift the door off of the hinges and set it aside.

Step 3: Pull out the existing dispenser assembly by pulling down on the sides of the assembly and disconnecting any electrical connections.

Step 4: Remove the screws that are securing the existing dispenser assembly to the refrigerator wall.

Step 5: Place the new dispenser assembly onto the refrigerator wall and secure in place with the screws you just removed.

Step 6: Reconnect any electrical connections, if needed.

Step 7: Place the freezer door back onto the hinges, making sure to align the top two screws and then replace the remaining two screws.

Step 8: Plug in the refrigerator and turn on the water supply valve.

Step 9: Test the dispenser assembly to make sure it is functioning properly.
