The French Door Refrigerator Evaporator Fan Motor circulates the cold air from the freezer into the fresh foods compartment of your refrigerator. You'll need to replace this part if it has shorted out and is no longer cooling the appliance properly. When the evaporator fan fails, it often generates a lot of noise in the freezer area.Note that to access the part, you'll have to remove the shelving from the freezer and the inside back panel. This part also includes an adapter wire, which you may need to use during the installation depending on the design of your appliance.This part features an incorporated wire harness and a thermistor to regular temperature. Note that when the evaporator fan fails, it often generates a lot of noise in the freezer area.
