W10752187 Whirlpool Screw
This Washer Washplate Screw attaches to the washplate to hold it down. This part can be used across several brands; check to see if your model number is compatible. Each screw is sold separately and measures 1-1/2" x 3/4" x 3/4". Installing this bolt will require basic hand tools and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before beginning the repair. DIY Instructions for Replacing the Whirlpool W10752187 Screw
1. First, unplug your appliance or turn off the power at the circuit breaker to ensure it's safe to work on.
2. Remove the back panel of your appliance to access the screw you need to replace.
3. Carefully locate the Whirlpool W10752187 screw and unscrew it with an appropriate sized Phillips head screwdriver.
4. Take the old screw to a home goods store or a hardware store to find a matching replacement.
5. Slide the new screw in to the same place that the old one was removed from and tighten it securely.
6. Replace any other parts that may have been disturbed by the repair and reattach the back panel.
7. Plug your appliance back in or turn the power back on at the circuit breaker and test the repair.
