1. Disconnect the power to your water filter by unplugging it from the wall outlet.
2. Unscrew the two screws on the bottom of the housing using a Philips head screwdriver.
3. Carefully separate the top and bottom halves of the housing and remove the existing bypass filter plug.
4. Insert the new GE WR17X33825 bypass filter plug into the lower housing.
5. Place the top housing back onto the bottom half and secure it with the two screws.
6. Reconnect the power to your water filter and test the new filter plug.
