Step 1: Unplug the dryer from the wall outlet and remove the cover panel on the back of the GE dryer.
Step 2: Remove the lint screen and filter assembly that is located at the bottom-right corner of the opening.
Step 3: Grasp the filter by its handle and pull it straight out from the opening.
Step 4: Inspect the filter for any damage or blockage. If there is any damage, replace the filter.
Step 5: Slide the new WE18X25100 GE Dryer Lint Screen Filter into the opening until it clicks into place.
Step 6: Replace the back cover panel and plug the dryer into the wall outlet.
Step 7: Test the dryer with a clothes load to ensure the new filter works properly.
