DIY Instructions for Replacing a Whirlpool WP74010283 Hinge
1. Unplug your refrigerator from the wall outlet and turn off the water supply.
2. Find the hinge that needs to be replaced. It should be located on the right side of the refrigerator door.
3. Gently remove the two screws that are holding the hinge in place on the refrigerator door.
4. Carefully pull the old hinge away from the refrigerator door.
5. Place the new hinge in its place on the side of the refrigerator door. Secure it with the two screws that were removed from the old hinge.
6. Plug the refrigerator back into the wall outlet and turn the water supply back on.
7. Test the new hinge by opening and closing the refrigerator door at least once.
