Replacing the Whirlpool WP74006072 IGNTR-SURF
1.Start by unplugging the appliance from the power source and shutting off the gas supply if it connected to a gas stove.
2.Remove the existing Igniter-Surf unit. It is attached to the main burner with two screws. Loosen these and then lift the old Igniter-Surf up and out of the appliance.
3.Take the new Whirlpool WP74006072 IGNTR-SURF and line up the opening in the center with the main burner tube.
4.Secure the new Igniter-Surf by tightening the two screws that connect it to the main burner.
5.Plug the appliance back into the power source and turn on the gas if applicable.
6.Test the new Igniter-Surf by turning on the stove and ensuring that all burners light when activated.
